SME has been present in the market for over than 30 years. It was established in 1967 by Mario Caroli in Ozzano Emilia (Bologna-Italy) was later transformed into SME di Aurelio Caroli.

The year 1987 saw the establishment of SME s.r.l. , which inherited all the experience accumulated over the years.
